Knotwood is a single-player rope-untangling puzzle. Your privacy is simple to explain because the game is built to need nothing from you.
None. Knotwood does not collect, transmit, sell, or share any personal data. There are no accounts, no logins, no advertising, and no analytics or tracking of any kind. The app contains no third-party SDKs.
Your level progress, stars, hints, daily-puzzle streak, the level in progress, and your sound and haptics settings are saved locally on your device so you can pick up where you left off. This never leaves your device and is not accessible to us. Deleting the app removes it.
Every level is generated on your device and the game plays fully offline. It contacts no servers of ours or anyone else's.
Knotwood offers optional leaderboards and achievements through Apple's Game Center. If you are signed in to Game Center, your highest level, total stars and daily streak may be submitted to Apple to power the leaderboards, and achievement progress is stored by Game Center. This is handled entirely by Apple and governed by Apple's Privacy Policy. We never receive or store it, and the game is fully playable signed out.
There are no in-app purchases and no subscriptions.
Knotwood is suitable for all ages. Because the game collects no data whatsoever, it collects no data from children.
If this policy ever changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
